I served as Social Media Manager for the PUBG Mobile global account, where my focus was building meaningful connections with players and promoting major beats across social platforms including X, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. I worked with the team and Partners for all upcoming partnerships (ex. BMW and Dragon Ball), events, and cosmetic releases.
I brainstormed and created content around community celebrations and competitive events. I also created dynamic copy for major updates and game mode releases. I actively monitored and engaged with creator content on YouTube and X to keep the “social” in social media and strengthen relationships with players and influencers. I worked with the Community team to assist with giveaways and player contests.
In addition to day‑to‑day engagement, I handled weekly social reporting, summarizing performance, highlighting current trends, and offering strategic recommendations for future content. I also reviewed and provided feedback to design and video production teams as well as assisted with the asset brainstorming process.

With the push toward player generated in-game content, I came up with the idea to create a challenge map that players could compete on while also learning how they can create their own maps. I worked with the Video Production team to create the map and the promotional video. I then created promotional social posts around it.
I created promotional posts for approved PUBGM Creators to show the team's support while building hype around new and on-sale in-game items.
PUBG Mobile had many big updates around a varying seasons, each being vastly different from the previous. The goal for these types of posts was to build hype while adding a concise excited urgency.
I worked with video production on unique humorous content that could be released around major updates. This one was focused on the new Home system, where players could create their own digital hang-out. We wanted to make sure everything was exciting and urgent while also educating players so they could easily get started.
I worked toward promoting content that educated new players while answered questions many players were sharing online. I created social posts like this that carried a competitive edge while highlighting the most important elements to the player.
I worked with the Community team promote events and competitions. We wanted to keep the energy and excitement up while highlighting the value to the player.
The goal with many of these posts were to be concise and let the image and the link do some of the lifting as well. We wanted to short intriguing copy as we knew we only had a short amount of time to engage the viewer. With everything going on with PUBG Mobile, concise copy worked better as up to 12 posts could go out a day across each platform.
I noticed many people showcasing off their gameplay like it was an action movie so I worked toward bringing that edge / element to social content.
I worked toward highlighting more player content while also using humor to catch the attention of our players, who saw a lot of promotional posts due to the amount of events and in-game purchases available.
